There is a big difference between a plumber and a heating engineer. Heating engineers are trained to install and repair central heating systems, whereas plumbers are trained to install and repair plumbing systems. Plumbers are not qualified to work on central heating systems and should not be hired to do so. Heating engineers are qualified to work on both central heating systems and plumbing systems.
