Arelis 4 is the best link popularity building software program on the market.
Don't confuse Arelis with link farms and link exchange services. Those types of services swap links via a centralized Web site. It's simple for search engines to catch sites that use these services.
Reciprocal link directories created by software, such as Arelis, are different. They don't use a centralized link exchange system. The exchange is conducted directly between you and the partner site; a practice that will not get you into trouble with the search engines.
Also don't confuse Arelis with OptiLink, which analyzes web page and search engine links to determine how they got their top rankings. Arelis is all about building link popularity.
A feature I particularly like is that there isn't a standard site template. You can customize your link directory in anyway you like. So much so, that even a HTML expert can't tell if a link directory was created by hand, or a program such as Arelis. So, it is virtually impossible for search engines to seek out and ban your link directory, without banning all link directories on the Web.
The software interface is nicely layout. Set-up is quick and easy. The software's robot is really good at finding relevant sites.
